Thank you a lot for your contribution.
I have already prepared new upstream version 0.9.28 with a few fixes and decided to upload it to the mentors this evening.
It was blocked by bug Bug #869078 in texlive-base (fancyhdr extramarks fails).

Could we block asn1c from removing from testing?

Could we block asn1c from removing from testing?

Every activity in the bug (including our discussion here)
sets the removal counter to at least 15 days.
